It's Saturday, I Need a Drink

Ahh, today was a great WOD. It incorporated 2 of my favorite things: Sledge Hammer Swings and Squats. I love Squats. Apparently the workout was named after me. We'll see if it sticks.

Part 2:


Pull-Up Ladder:
1-2-3-4-5-4-3-2-1

1-2-3-3-2-1

The first part went well. I love Tire Chops and Squats, though the Run after the Squats was rough. My legs felt like jelly! I finished in 24:28.

For the Pull-Up ladder, I tried to do strict Pull-Ups. I managed to do a few and switched to Chin-Ups, which I was able to do quite easily. Eventually I moved to Lil' Red, the band.

AMRAP in 10 minutes:

5 Cleans
5 Burpees

This one was deceptively rough. I used a medicine ball for the Cleans to work on my form. I got through almost 12 rounds. I was 2 Burpees away when time was called!
