Last week CrossFit was absolute murder. The Monday, the 19th WOD killed me dead. It was a KB Circuit (oh goody!) with Reverse Lunges. I used a 16kg KB. It hurt the day after. Tuesday, the 20th, we did a lifting WOD and the some RDL, which I hate. They hurt me even more. Wednesday, the 21st, we did Cindy and some cleans. I thought it would loosen me up. WRONG! Thursday was my rest day. Friday I felt better, but Jason came back to teach finally (YAY!) and did a killer ab workout before the workout so the next day I felt like someone had been punching me in the belly for 8 hours straight. Friday went alright though. Annie. I finished in 13:51 doing all Double Unders. Saturday was a fun Partner WOD that included Sled Pulls and Landmines. Some of my faves.

I liked this one. It was super hot so my running times wasn't as fast as I could have gone, but I am not risking anything. I get wicked bad heat headaches. I used the 16kg KB for the swings and did alright. I find my grip gets tired before the rest of me does doing KB swings with that weight. The Jumping Pulls Ups were no problem, I did all the Ring Rows with my feet on the box, and I kipped for the Pull-Ups. They were supposed to be strict but I still have problems doing strict. I think it is a mental block I just need to get over. I finished in 26:02. I was hoping to be done in 25 or less but...not quite. Hopefully next time.

Lifting Day! Back Squats and then 1 arm Barbell Presses
I did my working sets at 165 for the Back Squats. It had been a couple weeks and this weight was heavy enough. I hate any 1 arm anything with Barbells but did my best and got up to 35 lbs. Neat.
