The Sloth

This past week has been ridiculous. The blizzard conditions prevented the gym from being open for several classes. DTM and I have spent a good 4 hours thus far digging out our cars and will have more digging to do today. I really hate snow. Too bad there is a TON of it here. Cool!

WOD:


Bench Press


5 Rounds for Time of:

30 Push-Ups
Waiters Walk
30 Squats

Like I always say, I hate Bench Press. For one of my 3 working sets, I did 115 but for the other two I did 105. I was very tired so it wasn't my best effort but it was all I could muster for that day. The rest of the WOD was tough. I had to do modified Push-Ups for all the rounds. For the Waiter's Walks I did managed to use a 40# dumbbell, so that was cool. The Squats were easy. I finished in 15:32.

WOD: 5 Rounds for Time of:

40 Dumbbell Swings
10 Bear Complex (Deadlift, Hang Clean, Thruster)
Dumbbell Bear Crawl

This was ridiculous in a good way. I used 25lb dumbbells for everything (only one for the Swings). The Bear Complex is always tiring and the Bear Crawls--everyone looked like either gorillas or sloths. It was humorous.  I finished in 36:55. The Bear Complex killed me.
